Surrounded by gardens in a quiet residential area and just five minutes from Niagara-on-the-Lake's downtown, the Pillar and Post Inn, Spa and Conference Centre was once a peach-and-tomato canning factory when it opened in the late 1800s to serve the wine and fruit region. In 1970, the factory became a luxurious country inn perfect for picture postcards. From Buffalo:
Take I-190 North, I-190 ends at the Lewiston/Queenston Bridge.
Once past the customs booth get into the right lane to pay the toll.
Make a right turn and then left turn at the stop sign.
Make another right, follow Niagara River Parkway.
All the way into downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Get on the main street of town, at 2nd four way stop turn left.
You get onto King street, turn right on John Street.
The main entrance for the Hotel is on the right.
